Israeli attacks on Tyre and its surrounding areas in southern Lebanon have killed 13 people and injured 15 others, Al Jazeera reports citing the country’s National News Agency.

In the town of Tirdaba, nine people have been killed and seven wounded, while in the town of Deir Qanoun, three people have been killed and three others wounded.

In the popular housing area of Tyre, one person has been killed and five others have been wounded.

Rescue teams are continuing to work to clear the rubble in the town of Tyre after it was subjected to nine airstrikes.
