Oil prices have fallen about 4 per cent in morning trade, Al Jazeera reports.
Brent futures have fallen by $3.40, or 3.6pc, to $90.85 a barrel at 1428 GMT, while US West Texas Intermediate crude have slid $3.71, or 4.1pc, to $87.59.
Brent is on track for its lowest close since April 17, and WTI is on track for its lowest close since May 29.
