LAHORE, July 7: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) on Friday invited three more experienced players — Mohammad Nadeem, Kashif Jawad and Amir Saleem in the Pakistan “A” training camp which begins at Faisalabad from Monday.

The camp is being held in preparation for the next month’s 10th SAF Games.

Nadeem also came out of retirement the other day. He had called it a day after Athens Olympics.

The PHF secretary, Musarrat Ullah Khan, said they were asked to join camp after consulting the selection committee and getting formal approval from the PHF president.

He, however, added that their selection in the team would be subject to fitness.

Meanwhile, the PHF also named Saleem Sherwani as head coach/manager of the “A” team. He will be assisted by Danish Kaleem and Jan Mohammad.
