Development projects worth Rs20m inaugurated

TAXILA: Member National Assembly Sheikh Aftab Ahmed on Saturday inaugurated development projects worth Rs20 million in Kamra Cantonment in Attock, reaffirming his commitment to improving civic infrastructure and public facilities across the constituency.

Addressing a large public gathering after unveiling commemorative plaques for the schemes, Sheikh Aftab said the projects, funded through his special grant, include the construction of sewerage lines and paved streets in various wards of Kamra Cantt.

The development works were executed under the supervision of Cantonment Board Kamra. He said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) governments at the federal and provincial levels were pursuing a comprehensive agenda of public welfare and national development.

He added that Pakistan was steadily advancing on the path of progress.Sheikh Aftab highlighted his long-standing political partnership with the late former provincial minister retired Col Shuja Khanzada Shaheed and said that he was now working closely with former provincial minister Jahangir Khanzada to accelerate development and welfare initiatives across NA-49 and PP-1.
