GUJAR KHAN: Traders on Wednesday observed complete shutterdown to press the administration to arrest the alleged killers of two brothers who were gunned down intheir shop on May 17.

The two brothers, who were prominent traders of Gujar Khan, were allegedly killed by the sons of a Patwari after they had got registered an FIR over a traffic accident.

The traders association of Gujar Khan expressing their dissatisfaction over ‘failure’ of police in arresting the nominated killers, observed complete shutterdown that was also joined by chemists and some petrol pumps.

Shahid Ghafoor Pracha , president Traders Association Punjab, Sardar Saqib , president Chamber of Commerce, Rawalpindi, Kashif Chaudhry central leader of Tanzeem-i- Tajran , Raja. Jawaid Ikhlas former MNA , district nazim and PML-N leader, Raja Muhammad Jawad , predident of Gujar Khan traders association also addressed the gathering of the traders.

The traders leaders criticized the delay in the arrest of killers and demanded their early arrest .

They vowed that the traders would stage protest on G.T. Road as well as in Rawalpindi if their demand was not accepted.

Raja Jawaid Ikhlas during his address said that he has intimated to the chief minister Punjab about the concerns of traders. The chief minister assured that efforts would be made for the arrest of the killers.
