KARACHI: A man and his young son were gunned down while his other son was wounded, allegedly by neighbours over a personal dispute in Surjani Town late Tuesday night, police said on Wednesday.

Surjani SHO Sohail Khaskheli said the neighbours quarrelled over the teasing of a girl in the Rozi Goth area around the afternoon. However, at night, three to four suspects from one side attacked the others and resorted to indiscriminate firing on them.

As a result, Kamil Husain Bangash, 60, and his son Dohran, 26, were killed while the other son, Adeel Husain, 30, was wounded. The officer said the suspects managed to escape from the spot. The bodies and wounded were shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

The SHO said the police had ‘significant clues’ about the hideouts of the escaped suspects and concerted efforts were underway to arrest them.
