KURRAM: Nine people, including women and children, were injured when a passenger coach overturned near Khar Kallay on Sadda Bypass in Lower Kurram, police and rescue sources said on Tuesday.
They said the coach carrying passengers from central Kurram to Sadda overturned due to over-speeding while negotiating a sharp turn, leaving nine occupants of the vehicle injured.
The Rescue 1122 officials rushed to the spot after learning about the accident.
The injured were transported to a hospital in Sadda town. One of the injured was stated to be in a critical condition.
The injured belonged to the Para Chamkani area in central parts of the Kurram tribal district.
