Trade policy likely on 17th

ISLAMABAD, July 7: The government is likely to announce new Trade Policy on 17th of this month. An official in the ministry of commerce told Dawn on Friday that the trade policy would be announced ahead of the planned date as the commerce minister was scheduled to leave on July 19 to attend a meeting in Argentina.

Meanwhile, the commerce ministry would give two detail presentations to prime minister on 10th and 13th on the new initiatives to be announced in the trade policy.

The official said that commerce ministry would also give detail presentation on Saturday on the performance of the Export Development Board to the prime minister.
