SUKKUR: Four members of the Shar community were killed in a road accident in Khairpur district on Monday.
Reports from the Rasoolabad area of the district said that a speeding container-mounted trailer hit two motorcycles carrying four members of the Shar community along the National Highway. All the bike riders — Qadir Dad, Ms Sorath, Ghulam Rahbar, 8, and Ali Nawaz, 6, — were crushed under the wheels of the trailer and died on the spot, officials at the Hingorja police station said.
Another woman, Zarina Shar, was critically injured in the accident and was rushed to the Gambat Institute of Medical Science (GIMS), they added.
