Gas supply suspended as pipeline blown up in Bannu

BANNU: Unknown miscreants blew up a gas pipeline with explosive material in Kaski Akhundan area of Miryan here on Monday.

Police said the main gas pipeline was damaged in the explosion, resulting in the suspension of supply to the affected areas. The blast caused significant damage to the pipeline infrastructure, disrupting the flow of natural gas.

Upon receiving information about the incident, police and relevant authorities rushed to the scene and launched an investigation. Security personnel have begun collecting evidence to determine the nature of the attack and identify those responsible.

No casualties have been reported so far. The authorities have assured that efforts are under way to restore gas supply.
