Egyptian foreign ministry has condemned the Israeli military escalation against Lebanon in the “strongest terms”, urging the United Nations Security Council and international parties to fulfil their responsibilities “urgently and decisively” to stop the Israeli aggression immediately.
Iran, too, must engage seriously and provide credible assurances about its nuclear programme if it wants sanctions relief and a more stable relationship with the outside world.
