NAWABSHAH: A headless body of a woman was recovered from a home located in Bilawal Colony of Mehrabpur town in Naushahro Feroze district on Monday.

During an investigation, the police succeeded in identifying the victim as ‘wife of Imran Arain’, and handed over the decomposed body to the heirs after medico-legal formalities.

They said the investigation to ascertain facts about the incident was underway.

In a separate incident within the district, the body of a man, later identified as Ghulam Hussain Siyal, alias Patang, was found dumped in a mango orchard in Bhria City.

The area police were investigating the matter from different angles.
