Russian Ambassador to Pakistan Albert P. Khorev held a meeting with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Pakistan Salem Mohammed Al Zaabi, the Russian Embassy in Pakistan posted on X.

The ambassadors discussed “pressing international issues, including the Middle East crisis”, according to the Russian embassy.

“They emphasised that there is no alternative to the peaceful resolution of all existing disputes and expressed support for Pakistan’s mediation efforts.”

The ambassadors also talked about the situation in Afghanistan, stressing the importance of peace and stability in the region.
