MOSCOW, July 5: Russia has begun an anti-dumping investigation into imports of Ukrainian steel, the Russian ministry of economic development said on Wednesday.
The probe, the fourth since the start of the year, is to target imports of cold-rolled flat steel from Ukrainian producers in response to complaints from Russian companies Magnitogorsk, Novolipetsk and Severstal.
The Russian groups suspect their Ukrainian rivals of dumping in the Russian market, which is the prohibited practice of selling a product in a foreign market below its cost price.—AFP
