DERA GHAZI KHAN: The Ghazi University and the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University (SBBU) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening academic cooperation, research collaboration, and professional development initiatives.
The MoU was signed between the Department of Business Administration of both universities with the objective of promoting academic excellence, knowledge exchange, and institutional collaboration in the field of business education and management sciences.
Under the agreement, both institutions will work jointly on research projects, academic seminars, workshops, conferences, faculty exchange programmes, curriculum development, and student-oriented learning activities.
The document was formally signed by Dr Muhammad Ziaullah and Dr Muhammad Arif during a signing ceremony attended by senior faculty members and university officials from both sides.
Ghazi University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Ashfaq Ahmad and SBBU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Madad Ali Shah also participated in the ceremony and appreciated the initiative as a meaningful step toward strengthening higher education linkages between universities of Punjab and Sindh.
Speaking on the occasion, the university leadership emphasised the importance of academic partnerships in addressing contemporary educational and economic challenges through collaborative research and innovation. They noted that such agreements provide a platform for faculty and students to share expertise, develop professional skills, and engage in joint academic activities that contribute to national development.
The representatives of both universities expressed confidence that the MoU would open new avenues of cooperation in business administration, entrepreneurship, management research, and professional training.
They further highlighted that the partnership reflects a shared commitment to quality education, institutional growth, and the promotion of research culture within higher education institutions of Pakistan.
