Pakistan U-19 in final round

LAHORE, July 3: Pakistan U-19 badminton team qualified for the final round of the Asian championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia beating Cambodia and Jordan. Against Cambodia, Murad Ali drew the first blood thrashing Madehaw 21-12, 21-6 while Sara Khan outplayed Noevv 21-19, 21-9.

In the doubles, Murad with Zaran beat Veasha and Bhuchanbol 21-11, 21-11 while Zaran and Palwasha completed the rout beating Varin and Soderna 21-11, 21-11.

Murad again gave Pakistan a good start against Jordan when he notched up win against Bomi Mustafa 21-8, 21-6. Sara Khan doubled the lead beating Abu Damous 21-6, 21-15. Murad and Zaran made the score 3-0 beating Bomi Mustafa and Saleh Nosher 21-13, 21-9 in the doubles.

Sara and Palwasha carved out win against Alkhaleq Rezan and Abu Demons 21-14, 14-21, 21-13. Zaran and Palwasha completed the scoring beating Saleh Saeed and Alkhaleq 21-12, 21-18.
