HYDERABAD: A man murdered his first wife over a domestic dispute in the jurisdiction of Phulelli police station on Wednesday and fled with the second spouse.

According to police, accused Bilal Shah alias Asghar Shah Comrade shot dead his 25-year-old wife Mahnoor. She received a single bullet in the skull. The body was shifted to Liaquat University Hospital (LUH) by police and then it was handed over to her heirs.

The accused fled with his second wife Shifa, daughter of Abdul Rehman, afer the crime. Mahnoor’s father Nazeer Magsi was present at her daughter’s house when she was murdered. Nazeer has lodged an FIR with police for the murder against Bilal, his parents and his second wife.

Bilal had married Mahnoor eight years ago and fathered Zulquarnain.

The complainant in his FIR said that he reached Bilal’s house on May 4 to settle his issues with Mahnoor. He said that early on Wednesday morning he heard a gunshot. When he entered the room of Mahnoor, Bilal was fleeing with his first wife. He said Bilal had a pistol in his hand and Mahnoor’s body was lying on the floor.
