Accolade for Fuuast teacher

KARACHI: Dr Syed Tahir Ali, an assistant professor at the department of chemistry, Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (Fuuast), has secured an international educational and scientific project under the American Chemical Society (ACS), aimed at introducing students to the rapidly evolving field of computational chemistry.

According to a press release, the project will be conducted during the ACS Chemistry Festival through interactive, hands-on and visually engaging activities designed to familiarise students with the role of computers in modern chemical research.

Speaking about the initiative, Dr Ali said the project seeks to promote scientific literacy among young learners, encourage interest in STEM education and expose students to emerging areas of scientific research and technology.
