Four die on road; two hurt in quadcopter strike in Bannu

BANNU: Four persons were killed, and three others were injured in a road accident on the Bannu-DI Khan Road within the jurisdiction of Mirakhel police station on Friday.

The deceased have been identified as Shahzaib, son of Naseeb Gul , the wife of Shahzaib, and two girls, Sohana and Jalwah.

According to Rescue 1122, the accident took place due to a collision between a rickshaw and a pick-up van. Rescue 1122 sources confirmed that the deceased included two minor girls, a woman, and a man.

The severity of the crash was such that the victims lost their lives on the spot, while the injured were shifted to the hospital in critical condition, where they were receiving medical treatment. In a separate incident, two civilians were injured in a quadcopter attack in the Bakkakhel area of Bannu.

Sources stated hat the injured were immediately shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital.
