Israel’s Ministry of Defence has placed orders worth approximately $200 million for the supply of advanced airborne munitions from Israeli defence firm Elbit Systems, as part of the war on Iran, Al Jazeera reports.
In a statement, Elbit lauded its “technological leadership in air-launched weapon systems”, adding that the company was “proud of our longstanding partnership with the Israeli Ministry of Defence.”
Elbit’s munitions were “among the factors enabling the Israeli Air Force’s air superiority”, the company said.
