LAHORE: As the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11 resumed in Lahore, police have enforced a comprehensive security plan to ensure public safety and the smooth conduct of matches.

Capital City Police Officer Bilal Siddique Kamyana said that foolproof arrangements have been put in place for the promotion of international cricket.

He said security measures covered Gaddafi Stadium, team residences and all transit routes, with strict implementation orders issued to field officers.

The CCPO also directed effective traffic management to ensure smooth vehicular flow and minimise inconvenience to the citizens. Eight more matches are scheduled in Lahore, including Tuesday’s fixture between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators.
