GUJRAT: A 19-year-old youth was killed and four others were injured in two different road accidents on Sunday.

Reports said that a speeding motorbike hit a wall in the Jamo Bhola village and Waqas Ijaz of Kamoke town in Gujranwala died on the spot, whereas Atif (15) of Gakhara Kalan was injured in the incident.

The deceased and injured were shifted to the Kunjah THQ hospital by Rescue officials.

In another incident at the Dhoria Stop along the Kharian-Dinga road, at least three people, including a couple, were injured when a speeding motorcycle hit an old man while he was crossing the road.

As a result, Shabana (65), her husband Abdul Razzaq (70) of Barnala and a passerby Ashiq Hussain (68) of Barnali village were injured.

Rescue officials reached the spot and shifted the injured to the Kharian THQ hospital.
