NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq has hailed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and CDF and COAS Field Marshal Asim Munir’s efforts for de-escalation between the US and Iran.

He highlighted that the Pakistani leadership carried out intense diplomatic efforts, making calls to global leaders, to bridge the gap between the warring parties.

“Who brought them to the same table? Allah granted this honour to Pakistan,” Sadiq said while addressing an event in Lahore.

Recalling his interactions with world politicians at a recent parliamentary event in Istanbul, he said, “I have not seen this level of respect in at least 35 years that leaders from Europe accorded to Pakistan.”
