France blames Hezbollah for French peacekeeper’s death in Lebanon

A French soldier is killed and three others are wounded in an attack on UN peacekeepers in Lebanon that appeared to have been carried out by Hezbollah, AFP reports, citing French President Emmanuel Macron.

“Everything points to Hezbollah being responsible for this attack,” Macron said on X, urging Lebanese authorities to arrest the perpetrators.
