Numan Kurtulmuş, the speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, has praised “Pakistan’s proactive role in promoting peace and dialogue in the region” during a meeting with NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq.

They met on the sidelines of the 152nd General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Istanbul.

Terming Islamabad’s efforts timely and commendable, the Turkish leader noted that such initiatives reflect Pakistan’s commitment to regional stability and unity among the Muslim world.

Sadiq reiterated Pakistan’s sincere desire for global peace and the resolution of disputes through sustained dialogue and engagement, stressing the need for an end to wars and conflicts.
