Iran’s military says it has uncovered and dismantled spy “cells” linked to the United States, Israel and the United Kingdom, Al Jazeera reports.
Citing the intelligence wing of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Iran’s Fars news agency reported that the cells were aimed at carrying out espionage, “building networks” and stoking unrest in the country.
The IRGC said they were in the provinces of East Azerbaijan, Kerman and Mazandaran.
