QUETTA: Security forces foiled an attack on a check post in the Kuchlak bypass area, killing two terrorists on Thursday.

Police officials said that armed men riding motorcycles opened fire on a Frontier Corps (FC) check post in the Kuchlak bypass area, located on the outskirts of Quetta.

Security personnel deployed at the check post immediately retaliated and returned fire. A heavy exchange of fire took place between the security forces and attackers, which continued for about half an hour. As a result, two terrorists were killed, while two FC personnel were injured. Arms and ammunition, including a hand grenade, were recovered from the attackers.
