Gulf Arab states understand that Iran would not have closed the Strait of Hormuz were it not for “American aggression”, Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said according to Al Jazeera.
He said Moscow is pushing for continued negotiations between Iran and the US in order to reach a solution regarding the Strait of Hormuz.
Russia will accept any solution to the Iranian uranium enrichment issue that suits Tehran’s interests, the minister added.
