The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) have claimed that its troops are expanding targeted ground operations against Hezbollah’s military infrastructure “to strengthen the forward defence posture in the Bint Jbeil area in southern Lebanon”, after an Israeli strike was reported in the city earlier.
In a post on X, it claimed that its troops had struck and eliminated over 100 Hezbollah fighters, dismantled “dozens of terrorist infrastructure sites” and located “hundreds of weapons” in the area.
