JACOBABAD, June 27: A one-day training workshop on “Role of women councillors in local government” was organized by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in collaboration with the Community Development Foundation.

Aijaz Khwaja, national project manager of the UNDP, speaking at the workshop, said that women councillors can play a vital role in the local government by creating awareness among the womenfolk and development of society.
