The Israeli military has said it struck military sites in Tehran a day ago, Al Jazeera reports.
A military statement said the air force struck “regime aerial defence sites, including an IRGC aerial defence site where missiles intended to target aircraft were stored”.
It also claimed an attack on a “military site responsible for safeguarding the regime’s weapons research and development facilities” as well as a site where ballistic missiles were stored.
Israel claimed weapons production, research and development sites were also hit but did not provide additional details, nor offer evidence of the claims.
