Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has told Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin by phone that Ankara is maintaining contacts with all parties to stop the Middle East war from spiralling more out of control, Reuters reports, citing Erdogan’s office.
It cites Erdogan as telling Putin that Turkiye does not approve of the attacks against Iran, nor does it endorse Tehran’s retaliation against regional countries.
