Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan have discussed the Pakistan-China Five-Point Initiative in a phone call, with the latter noting Pakistan’s role in promoting dialogue and diplomacy in the region.

According to the Foreign Office (FO), the pair underscored the Initiative’s role in fostering peace and stability in the Gulf and the Middle East.

“Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to regional peace and stability. They agreed to maintain close contact on regional developments and matters of mutual interest,” the FO has said in a post on X.
