Five arrested in Iran’s Zanjan for alleged ties with ‘hostile’ networks

Iranian authorities say they have arrested five people accused of working for “hostile” networks in the north-western Zanjan province, Al Jazeera reports.

In a statement cited by the Tasnim news agency, an IRGC security unit in Zanjan has accused the detained individuals of being “affiliated with and acting as mercenaries for the enemy” by engaging with “hostile” networks.
