Israel claims it has carried out more than 400 air strikes over the past two days targeting infrastructure in Tehran, Al Jazeera reports.
In a statement, the Israeli army has said that using 650 munitions, the air force conducted more than 400 strikes “against infrastructure belonging to the Iranian regime”.
It added that Israeli warplanes carried out an extensive wave of overnight strikes targeting dozens of sites in the heart of the Iranian capital. The army claimed the attacks hit around 15 weapons production sites, including a central complex affiliated with Iran’s defence ministry.
