KARACHI, June 25: Five-year-old bay horse, Sea Wave, galloped home by three lengths to claim maiden victory in the Summer Gymkhana race meeting at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday.

Following two successive failures after arriving from Lahore he finally shone with jockey Shahid Manan astride.

Bay colt, Arab Hi Arab secured second place while joint favourite filly, Bul Bul, finished third. Baba Jani, a four-year-old bay colt, completed the frame.

Earlier, 11-year-old dark bay horse, Dhoom Machade, pulled off the biggest upset beating fancied Deniro by five lengths to grab the opener.

Six-year-old dark bay horse, King Of The Field, lived up to his top billing when he registered second win on trot in the second race.

He was sprinted to victory by M. Nasir who later came out with flying colours on filly, Abhi Abhi, in the fifth race to complete a fine double.

Abhi Abhi who beat colt, The Concord, by three and a half lengths, also made it two in a row.

Bay mare, Silent Love, was the third who repeated her winning feat when she edged out Swift Arrival by eight lengths to win the third while Lucky 4 Me beat Daruwala by head in a photo finish to grab the fourth race.
