Pakistan sailors dominate

KARACHI, June 24: Pakistan's Mohammad Yousuf captured a gold medal in the laser standard class of the 14th Al-Bareh International sailing regatta in Dubai on Friday.

According to details made available here on Saturday, Pakistan also won a silver medal by 13-year-old Talha Qazi Nadeem in the optimist category.

Ujala Mir Masood also gave good performance for the country when she finished fifth in the ladies 4.7 class.

Six Pakistani sailors competed in the five-day event that featured top sailors from ten Asian countries.—PPI
