KARACHI: Two women were sexually assaulted in as many separate incidents in the metropolis.
An 18-year-old girl was raped in Shah Latif Town.
Police Surgeon Dr Summaiya Syed said: “Sexual assault was confirmed on clinical examination.”
Area SHO Mumtaz Marwat said the victim, a schoolteacher, was assaulted inside her home. He added that the suspect managed to flee the scene.
In another incident, a 20-year-old woman was raped in Baldia Town.
South DIG Syed Asad Raza said the suspect had been arrested.
