Workshop at university

PESHAWAR, June 24: A four-week staff development training workshop started at the Kohat University of Science and Technology on Saturday.

The workshop, organised by the Higher Education Commission, will train staff of south region colleges, degree-awarding institutes and technical institutes in new trends and developments in the field of teaching and research.

The workshop was inaugurated by the base commander of Kohat.

Speaking on the occasion, he said a nation could not survive without development in fields of education and technology.

He appreciated the modern education system in the university, especially in the field of science and technology.

Vice-chancellor Dr Zabta Khan Shinwari said the university would provide facilities to students and researchers.—APP
