LAHORE: The kite flying-related incidents continued to surface in the city as a policeman riding a motorcycle suffered critical throat injuries soon after the string of a stray kite entangled around his neck in the jurisdiction of North Cantonment police here on Saturday.

Reports said constable Wahab was on his way home by a motorcycle after completing his duty when a stray kite string got entangled in his neck and hand.

The victim on his own rushed to hospital where he was said to be stable.

The police registered an attempted murder case against an unknown person and started the investigation.
