Iran’s foreign minister says Israeli attacks on the country have struck Unesco World Heritage Sites, including some dating back to the 14th century, Al Jazeera reports.
In a post on X, Abbas Araghchi called on Unesco to speak up over the attacks on the country’s heritage.
“It’s natural that a regime that won’t last a century hates nations with ancient pasts. But where’s Unesco? Its silence is unacceptable,” he wrote.
