SARGODHA: Police claimed to have arrested a man on Tuesday for allegedly throwing acid on his wife over a domestic dispute.

According to the police, one Mansoor threw acid on the face of his wife Natasha Kausar (22) over a domestic dispute.

Police spokesperson said that the woman had been shifted to the hospital and the husband was arrested, while investigation was ongoing.

FIGHT: Two people were killed and as many, including a woman, were seriously injured in a fight between two groups in Chak 104 NB of Saddar Police Station.

According to initial reports, the two sides fought over bricks lying near a house. Ehsan and Shaukat were killed and Ahmed and Munawar Bibi were injured in the firing. The injured were shifted to the hospital.

Police said that forensic teams and crime scene units were collecting evidence from the scene and the incident was being investigated from all angles.

Sargodha DPO Muhammad Sohaib Ashraf has also taken notice of the incident and sought a report from the Saddar SDPO.
