Netherlands to move embassy staff out of Iran

The ⁠Netherlands has announced it will transfer its Iran-based embassy staff to Azerbaijan over growing security concerns, Al Jazeera reports.

“Due to increasing risks to the ⁠safety of ⁠our staff, it has been decided to ⁠temporarily relocate the ⁠activities of ⁠the Dutch embassy in Iran to Baku, ‌Azerbaijan”, Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen has written in a post on X.
