HYDERABAD: Nazim’s directive

HYDERABAD, June 21: District Nazim Kanwar Naveed Jamil has directed that to protect properties from the vagaries of weather and substandard sewerage system, level of roads should be kept below the foundations of buildings.

He was speaking at a meeting held at his secretariat here on Wednesday.

The nazim directed the officials concerned that rain water and sewage should not enter buildings and a comprehensive survey should be conducted before building road, he added.

Those present in the meeting included MPA Aslam Pervez, DCO Mohammad Hussain Syed, district council convener Zafar Rajput, city taluka nazim Javed Jabbar, Latifabad taluka nazim and others.—Bureau
