Iran’s armed forces are the latest to announce support for new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, Al Jazeera reports.
In a statement published on state media, the military described Khamenei as “just, knowledgeable … pious and resourceful”, and said the Assembly of Experts had “proven their intelligence” by selecting him.
