ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif continued to use his personal relations and influence for the third consecutive day on Wednesday for de-escalation in the US-Israel and Iran war and held a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the premier while expressing his deep concern over the escalating crisis in the Middle East, condemned the Israeli attack on Iran, and subsequent regrettable attacks on other brotherly Gulf countries.
The PM apprised the Turkish president of his recent outreach to the leadership of the brotherly Gulf countries, reaffirming Pakistan’s full solidarity with them and conveying its readiness to play a constructive role in efforts aimed at resolving the crisis.
