SUKKUR: Water-rotation schedule

SUKKUR, June 19: The superintending engineer of the Begari Sindh feeder, Mr Ali Dost Roongho, has directed executive engineers of the Begari Sindh feeder division, Kashmore, Sukkur Begari bund division and Begari division, Jacobabad, to chalk out a rotation programme during the Kharif season due to shortage of water in the Indus river.

In a statement issued here on Monday, Mr Roongho said that the plan would be enforced immediately for 10 days.

The executive engineers have been further directed to inform farmers through wide publicity of the rotation programme so that they should be made aware of the situation well in time.

BISE: The controller of examinations of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Sukkur, has announced that the practical examination of the Information Technology (IT) of the higher secondary school certificate HSC-II (class XII) will be conducted from June 26.

According to a statement issued here on Monday, the Government Degree College Sukkur has been declared as examination centre for all boy candidates of all groups, colleges and higher secondary schools of Sukkur district and the Government Girls Degree College Sukkur for all girl candidates of all groups.

All boy and girl candidates of all groups of all colleges and higher secondary schools of Naushahroferoze district will appear at the Government Degree College Naushahroferoze and Government Girls High school Naushahroferoze, respectively.

Whereas all boy and girl candidates of the above categories of Khairpur and Ghotki districts will have to appear at the Government Superior Science College, Khairpur and Government Degree College, Mirpur Mathelo, respectively.
