New machines like Haematology Analyser, Blood Chemistry Analyser, Cell Analyser and Microtome (Histopathology) have been brought for the laboratory of the hospital. Besides, therapy machines including Puva, Microderm Abrasion, Fulgerating and Electrolysis machines and Dermatoscope for examination of patients will be made functional within 10 to 15 days.

The facility of medical therapy through these machines is being provided in private hospitals at high costs. It is very pleasant to the skin-disease patients that they could get the same facilities at the government hospital.

In the next fiscal budget, the Sindh government has also allocated funds for the establishment of allergy centre. The funds will also be released to buy costly laser machine in next fiscal, an official said.—Online
