LARKANA, June 18: Death toll rose to seven with three more murders in the jurisdiction of Hatri Ghulam Shah police station on Sunday.

On Saturday firing broke out between Jatoi and Korai clans over a minor dispute of cattle theft which resulted in the death of four persons — Roshan Ali Jatoi, 35, Attur Jatoi, 20, Jalal Jatoi, 18 and Mukhtiar Korai.

Police were dispatched to the affected area as soon firing broke out between the two groups on Saturday.

The embattled groups continued their firing on Sunday also which took lives of three more persons.

Those killed on Sunday included—-Ghulam Umar Jatoi, Zahid Ali Jatoi and Abdul Rauf Jatoi.

Their bodies were shifted to Chandka Medical College Hospital for autopsy and later handed over to the relatives.

The clashes flared up from Shahkani Jatoi village which later spread to the Qalab Jatoi Village located with in the limits of same police station from where the recent casualties were reported.

Tension mounted in the area as the rival armed groups of Jatoi and Korai took positions amidst police presence in the kutcha area of Larkana, police sources said.

However, so far no FIR was registered, the police said on Sunday.
