Over 18: Dawson takes two wickets

Dawson was sent to bowl his last over and was dispatched for a four by Shadab Khan at extra cover as the ball burst through Harry Brook’s hands, who attempted to prevent the boundary.

A wide and single off the next two balls put Usman on strike, who was caught by Overton in the deep off Dawson’s third delivery.

Dawson was on a hat-trick when he dismissed Muhammad Nawaz, who was the next man in after Usman’s dismissal. Desperate Pakistan even opted for a review in a bid to reverse the decision, but to no avail.

Next man in was Shaheen, who ran for a single on the over’s last ball and did not allow Dawson a hat-trick.
